Choose your tour dates between November and March.
Beginning in Auckland and ending in Christchurch; [Ferry crossing included] where you will pick up your bike before enjoying a relaxing evening before your adventure begins.
The roads in Aotearoa / NZ are in good condition, with light traffic outside the cities. Aside from encountering roads under repair, you will not be required to ride on any unsealed roads.
This tour is suitable for Intermediate or Advanced riders. Note: New Zealanders drive on the left-hand side of the road and so must you.
This exciting tour includes accommodation ranging from modern cabins to deluxe quality hotels.

Use your own motorcycle or rent one of our touring motorcycles, which are licensed, safety inspected and verified by the Aotearoa / NZ government.
A valid Passport along with appropriate approval is required for entry into Aotearoa / New Zealand.
A current Driver's License from your country of residence is required for motorcycle rental.
Tour Itinerary
Day #1 Airport Shuttle to Hotel
You will be met at Auckland International Airport and shuttled first to your hotel to check in, and then to pick up your bike.
The rest of the day is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before the adventure begins tomorrow—or you can visit some of the city sights.
Day #2 Auckland to Rotorua 450 km / 280 mi route (Approx. 7:30 hrs. riding)
Leaving your hotel and the city behind you, you will ride out on well-maintained country roads, through rolling countryside.
Stopping along the way for breaks & lunch in small out-of-the way country towns, combined with viewing the amazing scenery will have you pinching yourself to make sure you’re not dreaming. An optional visit to an authentic Māori Village in an active thermal area, is a great end to the first day.
Day #3 Rotorua to Napier 490 km / 305 mi route (Approx. 7:20 hrs. riding)
Today's ride hugs the coast, taking you into a part of NZ that is a mix of rugged hills, inspirational coastal seascapes, and rich farmland. This combined with a small population makes for an easy riding day. It is a GoPro day. Tonight’s stop is in a peaceful coastal town where you can enjoy great food and a walk along the beach.
Day #4 Napier to National Park 260 km / 160 mi route (Approx. 4:00 hrs. riding)
Today the road will take you back along the coast, before turning inland to climb towards the center of the island. A mix of rugged hills, inspirational coastal seascapes, and rich farm land mixed with great roads with lots of corners ranging from easy to twisty make this a fun day. Have your GoPro ready.
A short loop around the base of the mountains & volcanos located in the center of the island brings you your stop for the night.
Day #5 National Park to Wellington 395 km / 245 mi route (Approx. 6:15 hrs. riding)
After an early breakfast, you will head south over some manicured hills & valleys towards the southern point of the North Island. The natural beauty and fun of the road makes for a relaxing day. Twisty canyons, and multiple ranges to cross bring you into NZ’s capital city for the night.
Day #6 Wellington to Nelson 130 km / 80 mi route (Approx. 2:45 hrs. riding)
Setting out early to catch the interisland ferry, you will ride to the port located in NZ’s capital city. Once on the ferry and the bikes tied down in well-designed supports, relax and enjoy crossing the Cook Strait.
After leaving the ferry on the Sth. Island, head out through some fantastic twists and sweeping corners with picturesque seascapes, windy roads, native bush, changing elevations & numerous photo stops, (along with some optional ziplining) that will lead you to your stop for the night. (Make sure your GoPro is ready with plenty of back up batteries)
Day #7 Nelson to Blackball 400 km / 250 mi route (Approx. 6:15 hrs. riding)
Today is a GoPro day with fantastic gorge riding, beautiful scenery, great roads, light traffic and a stop to visit the amazing pancake rocks at Punakaiki today has it all. Today's accommodation is in a country hotel, built in 1910 with the possibility of a ghost or 2; but with the best chef to be found in the South Island, you won’t mind whether you see anything strange.
Day #8 Blackball to Fox Glacier 230 km / 145 mi route (Approx. 3:30 hrs. riding) [A short ride day with lots of sight-seeing]
A slower day with an optional stop to walk through the streets of early NZ in Shantytown and to shop for NZ’s famous green stone. Combined with some twisty cornering while you ride Sth. with the coast on one side of you and the Southern Alps on the other side. To nights stop, in sight of NZ’s highest mountain is a relaxing end to a fun day.
Day #9 Fox Glacier to Cardrona 290 km / 180 mi route (Approx. 3:40 hrs. riding)
Continuing Sth., stopping along the way to grab some photos of the amazing scenery, having lunch in a quite country coffee shop, and crossing one of the few passes through the Southern Alps, brings you to you stop for the night in one of NZ’s oldest hotels. Built in 1863, but with modern features, this is one of the wow factors, our tours are world famous for. Great location, great food, relaxing amenities; this hotel has it all.
Day #10 Cardrona to Fairlie 360 km / 225 mi route (Approx. 4:30 hr. riding)
After a relaxing breakfast, head inland to cross the Sth. Islands high country, stopping along the way to view Mount Cook. Continuing through the lake country brings you to your stop for the night. Today you will get a true sense of how big the Sth. Island is, and its claim as the largest pacific island in the world.
Day #11 Fairlie to Akaroa 240 km / 150 mi route (Approx. 3.00 hrs. riding)
After a relaxing night, the road continues to call your name for one more day of fun riding. This day loops out to the coast near Christchurch through amazing scenery. With no time deadlines today, you set the pace and just live the dream. Today's highlight is riding into the small cozy seaside town of Akaroa. This piece of France located on the Sth. Island welcomes you with a unique European flavor. Fantastic riding surrounds this town, and its location on a deep-water harbor makes for beautiful sunsets. A waterfront restaurant will have you believing that you’re actually in France.
Day #12 Akaroa to Christchurch Hotel 365 km / 230 mi route (Approx. 5:00 min. riding)
A ride into Arthurs Pass for lunch is a great way to spend you last day with us. Once you drop your bike off, a short shuttle ride takes you to your hotel for the night. Today ends with a relaxing dinner.
If you want to stay on for additional nights that can be arranged.
Day #13 Hotel Shuttle to Airport
Your last day in NZ begins with a relaxing breakfast, and a short shuttle ride, to the airport. This shuttle ride is filled with talk about the adventure you’ve just had and the fun experienced.
